A man exposed himself near a bus stop in Oxford, police have said. 

The incident occurred at about 12.45pm yesterday (Wednesday), next to the bus stop near Boots Pharmacy on London Road in Headington.

The offender is described by Thames Valley Police as black, around 5ft 7ins, had medium length black hair and was wearing dark clothing. He was carrying a rucksack.

An appeal for relevant information from eyewitnesses was issued by police on Thursday afternoon. 

Thames Valley Police investigating officer, PC Matthew Newland said: “We are appealing for information following this incident.

“We are asking anyone with information to please call 101 quoting the reference number 43240499993.

“Additionally we ask anyone with mobile phone, CCTV or dash-cam footage to get in touch with the force in case it has captured something which may assist this investigation.

“If you do not wish to speak to police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
