The latest court cases in Oxford Magistrates' Court:

DEAN POTTER, 42, of Boswell Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to possession of a Class A drug, namely a small wrap of cocaine, on August 24 this year. He was fined £200 and a forfeiture and destruction order was made for the drugs. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £80.

MARK WILLIAMS, 58, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress in Oxford on September 29. He was fined £50. There were court costs of £85.

JOSEPH PICKARD, 28, of The Old Rectory, Sunningwell, was found guilty of drug driving in Oxford on December 5 last year. He was disqualified for 12 months and fined £1,350. There were court costs of £650 and a victim surcharge of £540.

TREVOR FRANCIS, 45, of Rivermead Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive, or insulting words/behaviour with intent to cause that person to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used against them on March 30 this year. He also pleaded guilty to five counts of theft from a shop, one count of attempted theft from a shop, an M&S on May 16 this year, and one count of assault by beating on May 16 this year. He was jailed for 42 weeks and was ordered to pay £50 in compensation. There were no other orders for costs.

DANI MITOVA, 33, of Bismore Road, Banbury, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Southam Road, Banbury on August 25 this year with 68 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. They were disqualified from driving for 18 months, reduced by 18 weeks, and fined £207. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £83.

MIGUEL MARTINS, 34, of Marston Street, Oxford, pleaded guilty to driving without a licence on August 25 this year in Oxford as well as driving without third party insurance. He was fined £350 and six penalty points were added to his driving record. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £140.

MICHAEL GIBBONS, 47, of The Crescent, Carterton, was found guilty of drink driving in Hanney Road, Steventon, on October 18 last year with 99 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was given a community order to abstain from alcohol for 60 days and to complete 100 hours of unpaid work. He was disqualified from driving for 25 months, reduced by 25 weeks for a course. There were court costs of £400 and a victim surcharge of £114.
