A teen charged with causing the death of three young men after a crash in Marcham had informally indicated he will plead guilty.
Passengers, Elliot Pullen, 17, Daniel Hancock, 18 and Ethan Goddard, 18 all died in the early hours of June 20 last year after a BMW crashed into a tree in Frilford Road, Marcham.
Driver Thomas Johnson, 19, of Stainswick Lane, Shrivenham, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (October 15) afternoon charged with three counts of causing death by dangerous driving.

Standing in the dock wearing a grey suit and black tie, Johnson could be seen immediately beginning to cry as the court proceedings commenced.
It was heard that the offences can only be dealt with at Oxford Crown Court so he was not asked to enter a plea formally into the court record.
However, his representing lawyer wished to express to the court informally that Johnson intends to plead guilty to all three counts.

The young teenager is now due to appear at the higher court on November 14 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
Families of the passengers, Elliot, Daniel, and Ethan, were also present in court for the first hearing of Johnson.
The defendant will remain on unconditional bail until his next court hearing after being charged via postal requisition.
