Burglars broke into a city home in broad daylight after smashing a window, police have said.
Thieves broke a ground floor window and entered the house in Kimmeridge Road in Cumnor, near Oxford, through the first floor window, police said.
Once inside they carried out a 'messy search' and stole some items of property.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to the break-in which happened between 10.30am and 12.30pm on Thursday, October 10.
Anyone who has any CCTV or Ring doorbell footage or any relevant information, is asked to get in touch with the police by calling the non-emergency number 101.
