Families have been visiting the Earth Trust's pumpkin patch to get ready for Halloween.
The trust has a centre at Little Wittenham near Didcot where staff aim to inspire people to address climate, biodiversity and wellbeing issues with the power of natural green spaces.
The site's Pumpkin Patch opened on Sunday (October 13), and for the next two Sundays and half term week, families can dive into a world of autumn adventures, featuring pumpkin picking, a challenging maize maze, and a host of seasonal activities.

Amy Rowland, public programming manager at the Earth Trust said: “We’re incredibly excited to open our Pumpkin Patch event.
"It’s the ideal way for families to kick off the autumn season. From selecting the perfect pumpkin straight from the patch where they’ve grown from seed to tackling our giant maize maze, there are so many ways for everyone to engage with nature while having fun. We can’t wait to welcome visitors throughout October.”
Visitors can also see the Earth Lab ‘Discovery Zone’ with hands-on science experiments, and local food vendors will be selling seasonal treats.
The pumpkin patch will be open on October 20, October 27, and October 28-31, with sessions from 10am-1pm and 1pm-4pm.
Tickets are £3 per person in advance (plus booking fee), with children under three entering for free. On-the-gate entry will be £5.
As part of the “Thank the Earth” campaign, the Earth Trust is promoting a “Craft, Cook, Compost” initiative to educate visitors about reducing food waste. Attendees are encouraged to explore creative ways to use their pumpkins, from crafting to cooking and composting.
“By joining us this weekend and throughout October, families can not only have a fantastic day out but also get closer to where their food comes from,” added Ms Rowland.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity to make lasting memories while connecting with the land around us.”
