A major road in Oxfordshire will close tonight affecting thousands of drivers.
The A34 northbound exit slip road at Hinksey Hill will be closed from 9pm tonight (Monday, October 14) until 6am tomorrow (Tuesday, October 15).
A warning issued by Oxon Travel, a traffic account run by Oxfordshire County Council, said: “Planned closure.
“A reminder that the A34 northbound at the Hinksey Hill exit slip will be closed from tonight, 9pm until Tuesday, October 15, 6am.
“Please plan your journey ahead.”

This comes after a weekend closure earlier this month on the A34 which caused traffic chaos in and around Oxford, frustrating drivers who missed arrangements.
The closure today will only affect the exit slip overnight with the shut section running as normally early tomorrow morning.
