The latest court cases in Oxford Magistrates' Court:

HAROON KHAN, 23, of Phipps Road, Kingston Bagpuize, pleaded guilty to being the driver of a vehicle involved in a road traffic accident and failing to report it on March 28 this year in Milton. He also pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention, driving without third party insurance, and driving without a licence. He was fined £1,300 and disqualified from driving for six months. There were court costs of £400.
LANCE SIMMONS, 38, of Gordon Street, Oxford, pleaded guilty to possession of a quantity of a Class B drug, namely cannabis, on April 5 this year. He was fined £50 and there was a forfeiture and destruction order was made for the drugs. There were no orders for costs.
MOUSSA ADOUM, 40, of Murdoch Road, Bicester, pleaded guilty to nine counts of theft from a shop, one count of assaulting an emergency worker, one count of possession of a Class B drug, namely cannabis, one count of obstructing/restricting a constable in the execution of duty and seven counts of breaching a criminal behaviour order. He was jailed for 18 weeks, suspended for 12 months. There was compensation of £50 and a forfeiture and destruction order was made for the drugs. There were no orders for costs.
AMBER EARNSHAW, 20, of Milnhay Road, Nottingham, pleaded guilty to drug driving in Marcham on May 27 this year. She was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £120. There were court costs of £40 and a victim surcharge of £48.
SHOFIK TOWNSEND, 47, of Banbury Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to police/court bail on August 20 this year. He was fined £20. There were no other orders for costs.
ANITA HAYDEN, 35, of Druids Walk, Didcot, pleaded guilty to persistently making using of a public communication network to cause annoyance/inconvenience/anxiety between June 12 and July 21 this year. She was given a period of conditional discharge for six months. There were court costs of £40 and a victim surcharge of £26.
DEBBIE WARMINGTON, 42, of Palgrave Road, Great Yarmouth, pleaded guilty to drug driving in Oxford on March 2 this year. She was disqualified from driving for 36 months and fined £120. There were court costs of £40 and a victim surcharge of £48.
GORDON PIGGOTT, 56, of Market Street, Oxford, pleaded guilty to breaching a non-molestation order on February 14 this year by contacting someone he was prohibited to do because of an order put in place on December 18 last year at Oxford Family Court. He was fined £392. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £157.
