Hundreds of people lit up the night sky as they gathered for an annual charity walk under the stars.

The Sue Ryder Starlight Hike Thames Valley was a show of support for the charity which runs a palliative care hub in South Oxfordshire.

Taking place on Saturday, October 5, it saw 350 people take on a 10km route, dressed in bright outfits, neon face paints, and glow-in-the-dark accessories.

This year's event is expected to raise £33,000 for the charity.

Sue Soffe, senior community fundraiser for Sue Ryder Palliative Care Hub South Oxfordshire and Sue Ryder Duchess of Kent Hospice, said: "It was truly amazing to see the crowds shining bright in dazzling outfits and spectacular accessories, celebrating the memory of their loved ones while helping to raise funds so that Sue Ryder can continue to be there when it matters most.
