District council planners are yet to decide a scheme for a range of new bridges and access roads in association with planned development for more than 1,400 homes.
The new infrastructure is set to be decided alongside Oxford University College Christ Church and Dorchester Residential Management's scheme for 1,450 new homes at Bayswater Brook to the north of Barton.
This had been due for a decision by South Oxfordshire District Council's planning committee on Wednesday, October 9.

However, the main scheme for the new community was finally green-lit after two-and-a-half-hours, meaning there was not time for the other items on the agenda.
This will now be decided at a future meeting.
The scheme is also due for a decision from Oxford City Council's planning committee on Tuesday, October 15 as it falls partly into their boundary.
