A 20mph speed limit has been approved for five more areas of the county today.
The decision was made under delegated authority by Oxfordshire County Council cabinet member for Transport Management, Andrew Gant.
By September 2024, 214 requests to reduce speed limits to 20mph in towns and villages had been approved since the project began in 2022.
To be eligible for 20mph in Oxfordshire, an application must initially be supported by each affected town or parish council and the local county councillor.

The authority approved funding of up to £8,000,000 to deliver 20mph, meaning the implementation of schemes comes at no cost to town or parish councils.
The county council said lower speeds would improve road safety as well as encouraging cycling and walking.
The five schemes approved this morning are: Cholsey; Drayton (Banbury); Drayton St Leonard; Duns Tew; and Langford.
