A man threatened a driver with a knife before stabbing their car window at least seven times in a road rage incident, police say. 

Thames Valley Police say the road rage incident happened after the victim 'accidently cut him up' exiting his driveway onto Ladder Hill.

The incident occurred on Ladder Hill, Wheatley between 6.50pm and 7pm on September 29. 

The male 'got into the victims face' and 'started squaring up to him', before  returning with a knife from his vehicle.

Police say he then 'threatened the victim with it' and then 'chased after the victim', before stabbing at the victims car window at 'least seven times', causing significant damage to the vehicle.

The suspect has been described as an Asian male who is roughly 25-33 years old, around 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches, with a 'scraggly patchy beard' and black hair believed to be short in length.

Police say he was wearing a black hoodie, black trousers and black trainers.

The suspects vehicle is described as blue hatchback, which police say could potentially be a Japanese make, such as a Toyota or Nissan.
