Oxford residents are leading the way in looking for new ways to keep their homes warm during the colder months, researchers have said following a new study.
Carried out by Reveal, the study showed the city has seen a 2,000 per cent rise in online searches for triple glazed windows over the past year.
This was far higher than Stoke-on-Trent and Salford, which came second and third on the list with 350 per cent and 300 per cent increases respectively.
David Weaver of Reveal said: "As people across the country see their bills rising and rising, sometimes it’s a good idea to look at keeping the heat in.
"As the weather becomes more extreme and winters grow colder, triple glazing may provide the extra warmth and protection to set people's minds at ease."
