An Oxfordshire kebab shop has been criticised by inspectors over its hygienic handling of food.
Posh Nosh on Bridge Street in Abingdon serves a variety of kebab meals with reviews on Tripadvisor being mixed.
Some like the food while others have slammed the quality as one customer said: “Terrible service, items of food missing, warm soft drinks, especially when nearly £50 spent for a family of four.
“Really disappointing, never again.”
Vale of White Horse District Council’s Environmental Health team was clearly in agreement with the negativity surrounding Posh Nosh during their inspection on Tuesday, August 20.

Awarding the kebab shop a lowly two-out-of-five food hygiene rating, the report stated that improvement was 'necessary'.
The major issue at the location was the hygienic handling of food which refers to the preparation, cooking, re-heating, cooling and storage.
This was regarded as requiring 'improvement'.
Despite its hygiene problems elsewhere, Posh Nosh’s management of food safety was viewed by inspectors as 'generally satisfactory'.
This concerns having a system or checks in place to ensure that the food sold or served is safe to eat and if there is evidence that staff know about food safety.

It also covers whether or not the food safety officer has confidence that standards will be maintained in future.
The kebab shop’s cleanliness and the condition of its facilities and building were also seen as 'generally satisfactory'.
This includes having appropriate layout, ventilation, hand washing facilities and pest control to enable good food hygiene.
