The reason why a police helicopter repeatedly circled Oxford for over an hour last night has been revealed.
At approximately 10pm on Tuesday, October 8, a police helicopter crew from NPAS Benson was deployed to the Oxford area.
A spokesperson for NPAS said: “This was to assist Thames Valley Police in the search for a high-risk missing person.”
The helicopter circled the south of the city for over an hour with a particular focus on the Rose Hill and Littlemore areas.
