A Christmas song celebrating the Cotswolds is set to be released next month.
Christmas In The Cotswolds, written by Next To No Time, is set to be released on Thursday, November 14.
The group is made up of Steve Banyard, producer and keyboardist, and David J King, who also plays the keyboard and is in charge of vocal arrangements, along with various guest singers.
The Cotswolds, renowned for their picturesque views and historic villages, have long been associated with idealised Christmas imagery, with Hollywood films like 'The Holiday' having drawn on this seasonal charm.
Every year, the Cotswolds attract countless tourists from both the UK and abroad, particularly from America and Asia, all seeking to experience the quintessential English countryside.
The song will feature destinations including Bourton-on-the-Water, Broadway, Cheltenham, Stow-on-the-Wold, Tetbury, and Cirencester, many of which will also appear in the accompanying music video.
The new track aims to encapsulate the joy of Christmas in the region, with scenes of family gatherings among snow-capped hills and by log fires.
The "joyous and infectious" song aims to "generate the sense of a giant, fun Christmas party".
The music blends synth-based rhythms with guitars, mandolin, and strings, creating a "new, upbeat, and happy Christmas sound".
The song will be available on various platforms, including iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL, Amazon Music, and other major stores.
