The network apologised for the outage and a spokesperson for Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks said: “Electricity supplies have been restored to the 575 customers in Bicester, after damage to an overhead cable resulted resulting in an interruption to their electricity at 8:40am yesterday.
“Engineers from Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) worked quickly and safely to carrying out repairs after the line was brought down by a lorry and all customers were back on supply by 12:52pm.”
