A person has been killed on train tracks on an Oxfordshire rail route.
Emergency services were called to a Reading line at around 9.25am today (Monday, October 70 after reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Despite a large emergency response including paramedics, a person was confirmed dead at the scene.
British Transport Police were also at the scene and confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious.

A BTP spokesperson said: “Officers were called to the line in Reading at around 9.25am today (7 October) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
Trains around Reading are being affected by the incident with Oxfordshire trains also impacted.
A spokesperson for Great Western Railway said: “Due to the emergency services dealing with an incident between Reading and London Paddington, all lines are disrupted.

“Train services running to and from these stations may start or finish at Reading. All stations between Reading and London Paddington will not be served.
“Disruption is expected until noon.”
GWR confirmed that ticket acceptance is available from London Marylebone to Oxford on Chiltern Railways services.
