A large police presence was seen in Cowley this morning (Sunday, October 6) due to an 'ongoing incident'.
Thames Valley Police were in attendance at the Barracks Lane area of Cowley in response to an ongoing incident.
Writing about the incident online, police said: "Officers attended swiftly and safely resolved the incident, with one arrest being made.

"We understand this incident may have been alarming for those who witnessed it but there is no ongoing risk to the public.
"Anyone with information about the incident should 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference 601 of today’s date.
"Please do not share videos or images of the incident on social media, instead, send them to us via our website."
Details of the incident are currently unknown.
