They also noted that the vodka included “delicate herbs” on the palate.
It’s the newest addition to Sky Wave’s award-winning range of eight spirits and one non-alcoholic expression.
The vodka was described as “a game changer” by an industry expert when it was launched this summer.
The International Drinks Specialists also praised it as “a fine sipping vodka” and awarded it the incredibly high rating of 94 out of 100, securing its place as a premium vodka.

The Sky Wave Distilling Company crafts premium, artisan spirits and has garnered more than 76 international awards including the World’s Best Contemporary Gin, and The World’s Best Designed Gin Range, both at The World Gin Awards and is currently named The Distillery of the Year by The Gin Guide Awards.
Sky Wave Master Distiller, Andrew Parsons, said “We are thrilled to have received such high recognition for our very first vodka, in such a short space of time.
"Our customers say they love the smooth, soft taste of our vodka which we triple distil to achieve an incredible taste and mouthfeel.”
