A level crossing in an Oxfordshire town is closed until further notice, Network Rail has confirmed.
The London Road level crossing in Bicester has been closed since yesterday (October 1).
Many residents are discussing the issue on social media and Network Rail has now confirmed the level crossing is closed due to a "fault".
A spokesperson for Network Rail said: “Owing to a fault, the London Road level crossing in Bicester is currently closed.

"Unfortunately, a replacement barrier has not resolved the problem and our team is on site carrying out further tests.
"To keep everyone safe, the road remains closed until further notice.
“We are working to fix the fault as quickly as we can and are sorry to the local community for any inconvenience.”
