A disused bus shelter has been given a spooky makeover in time for Halloween.
The South Leigh bus shelter is celebrating its 25th decorative scheme since June 2020.
It was conceived at the start of the pandemic as a swap library since when it has taken on decorative themes including 'Busingham Palace' for the late Queen’s 70th Jubilee, 'Busminster Abbey' for the Corornation, Beach Huts, Santa’s Post Office, Club Tropicana and D-Day.
The new theme, Haunted House, features a devilish life-size skeleton, dress-up for kids’ photos, bottled rats and bats and, this year for the first time, snakes.

Children can dress up and pretend to cook devilish potions from a wide range of ingredients provided including rodents, bottled bats, pigeon and fir cones.
Chair of the South Leigh & High Cogges Parish Council, Lysette Nicholls, said: “The formerly derelict bus shelter in the heart of our village has become something of a local and regional attraction.
"In its 25th incarnation since the start of Covid, it shows how with imagination and lots of community enthusiasm, an eyesore can be made bewitching."
