A serving Thames Valley Police Officer has been charged with an offence in Abingdon in relation to an allegation that he #engaged in a romantic relationship' with a victim.
PC Ian Dring, aged 49, has been charged with one count of corrupt/improper exercise of police powers and privileges by a constable.
Thames Valley Police said the charge relates to an allegation that Dring 'engaged in a romantic relationship' with a victim in a case that he was investigating.

He was arrested on suspicion of the offences in May last year and following an investigation was charged on August 30 this year.
Dring appeared at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Friday (September 27) and has been released on bail to attend Aylesbury Crown Court on October 28.
Dring is stationed in the South and Vale in Oxfordshire and is currently suspended from duty.
