A man has been arrested following a fatal motorway crash that killed a woman in her 50s.
Warwickshire Police said a 23-year-old man has today (Monday, September 30) been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Officers and emergency services were called to the northbound carriageway on the M40 between junction 11 (Banbury) and junction 12 (Gaydon) at around 7.15pm on Saturday night (September 28) after several reports of a multiple-vehicle collision.

The collision involved five cars and a Peugeot boxer van.
A passenger in one of the cars – a woman in her 50s – died at the scene.
Her next of kin has been informed and specially trained officers from Warwickshire Police are supporting the family at this time.
