Dozens of people donned their best 1940s for a special event at a heritage railway.
Cholsey and Wallingford Railway hosted the Back to the Forties weekend on September 28 and 29.
There were re-enactors, flyovers, and music.

After the event, a post on its Facebook page said: “We would like to thank all our fabulous re-enactors, our visitors, the fantastic Hurricane Heritage for the flyover, and all the amazing tireless railway volunteers for another brilliant Wallingford - Back to the Forties! The weather behaved, the songs from Jill Jilly Kemp, Beau Norton “Debonair Extraordinaire” Vintage Vocalist and Miss Lily Lovejoy Vintage Vocalist and Entertainer entertained us, the beer and (occasional Prosecco) flowed and we all had a blast!”
The date for next year's event has already been set for the weekend of October 4 and 5.
