Legendary boxer Ricky Hatton will make a special guest appearance at an Oxfordshire football club.

The 45-year-old will be coming to the county for one night at Didcot Town FC on Friday, March 7, 2025.

Comedian Jed Stone will compere the event and fans will be able to grab a photo with the 45-year-old MBE as part of the ticket price.

A statement from Didcot Town FC on Saturday said: “We can now confirm that Ricky Hatton will be appearing at Didcot Town Football club on Friday, March 7.

“Tickets are priced at £45 and this will include a photo.

“The compere for the evening is comedian Jed Stone.

“There will be an auction and memorabilia raffle on the evening.

“This is going to be a fantastic evening with one of Britain's most popular boxers.

“Tickets will be available from ticket tailor and Didcot Town FC.

“We will have more details on a release date for tickets in the near future.”

The former boxer competed between 1997 and 2012, and has since worked as a promoter and trainer.

During his fighting career he held multiple world championships in his weight category.
