Police say they have no record of an incident in Oxford despite eyewitnesses suggesting the contrary.
Onlookers saw a police van arrive at the Old Fire Station in George Street at around 2.30pm yesterday (Friday, September 27).
Five police officers could be seen standing alongside the patrol van as members of the public watched on.

Despite the photograph and details of the incident, Thames Valley Police were unable to provide any further information on what happened or even locate it in their internal logs.
A spokesperson for the force told the Oxford Mail on Saturday: “I have had a look on our logs in relation to the information you have provided, but I’m afraid I can’t find anything.”
