A motorhome has been seized by police in Oxfordshire.

Thames Valley Police officers PC Shayler and PC Jenkins were patrolling Banbury when they found the vehicle on South Bar Street.

It was discovered that the motorhome had no insurance as well as no MOT or no tax leading to the pair of officers seizing the vehicle.

A spokesperson for the force said: “A motor home has been seized for no insurance, no MOT and no tax at South Bar Street, Banbury.

“Seized by PC Shayler and PC Jenkins.”

A photograph of the seized vehicle was posted by TVP on Facebook and garnered a large response from the local community.

“Obviously having a ‘holiday’ from paying for necessary documentation,” said one commenter.

Another added: “To the crusher!”
