An Oxfordshire farmer’s field has been dealt costly damage after a vehicle was spotted driving across the crops.
The incident happened yesterday morning (Thursday, September 26) as Thames Valley Police were called to Blewbury near Didcot.
After receiving calls, the force was responding to reports of hare coursing in the area which resulted in over £500 of damage dealt to the field.
Posting about the news on Facebook, officers revealed that a vehicle had been seen doing the damage.

A spokesperson for TVP said: “PC Little and PC Akers have responded to a report of hare coursing in the Blewbury, Oxfordshire area this morning.
“Damage estimated to be in excess of £500 was caused to a farmer's field after a vehicle was seen driving across crops. An investigation is ongoing.”
