Police in Banbury had a stroke of luck in finding out a car had no insurance or tax after spotting a child standing up while the vehicle was moving.
Officers noticed a child looking at one of their motorbikes near the former Odeon building in the town centre today (September 26).

However, the child was standing on the seats and looking through the rear window of a car that was driving along the road.
The police subsequently stopped the vehicle and discovered the motorist had no licence, insurance or tax.
This meant that the vehicle was seized by officers.
In a statement issued on Thames Valley Police Roads Policing on Thursday afternoon, officers added the driver had been reported to the courts.
