A ploughing match and country show has been cancelled as the field has had over five inches of rain in as many days.
The Fairford, Faringdon, Filkins and Burford Ploughing Championship and Country Show was due to take place on Saturday (September 28) at Langford but organisers said it was with "heavy hearts" that they made the "very hard decision" to cancel due to extreme weather conditions.
Over 5,000 people attend the annual event which celebrates how land has been tilled for thousands of years in England and the skill involved.

Announcing the news on social media, FFF&B Chairman Mark Horner said: "With five inches of rain since Friday, the ploughing fields are waterlogged and more rain is forecast over the next few days.
"We want to make sure all our visitors and ploughmen stay safe and we cannot guarantee that with worsening conditions."
Ticket holders will be contacted about all refunds and online ticket sales but are asked to be patient as this is an unprecedented situation and the show is run by volunteers.
The show will be back next September at Barrington Park.
