A body has been found in Banbury following a "fear for welfare" incident, police have confirmed.
Thames Valley Police vehicles were seen near Swan Close Road in the town before 9am this morning and a spokesman for the force said officers were responding to a "fear for welfare incident", adding that there was no risk to the public.
Now the force has confirm that a man's body has been found, although it has not yet said where the man was discovered.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police, said: "At around 7am this morning officers were called to a fear for welfare incident in Swan Close Road.
"Sadly on arrival officers found that a man had died. There are no suspicious circumstances and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
"The man’s next of kin have been informed, and our thoughts are with them at this very difficult time.”
The area was cordoned off while officers were responding to the emergency.
