An Oxfordshire school has announced an unexpected emergency closure today.
Langford Village Community Primary School near Bicester has been left partly open on Wednesday morning with the attached Starlings Nursery closed.
Despite several schools closing throughout this week due to flooding, the reason given for the partial close was staff sickness.
The school and nursery are expected to reopen as normal tomorrow (Thursday, September 26) with today (Wednesday, September 25) set to be the only affected day.

All other schools across Oxfordshire have reopened or remained open following the adverse weather across the county.
A yellow weather warning has been issued for Oxfordshire between Thursday and Friday though with flooding likely so this next batch of wet weather may prompt further potential closures.
