Ricky Gervais launched a dig at Oasis while announcing a new gig in Oxford.
The controversial comedian is taking his new Mortality tour around the UK and revealed several dates on Tuesday including a show in the city next month.
Mr Gervais took the chance to land a blow at recently reformed band Oasis over a recent pricing scandal which saw fans pay hundreds of pounds for tickets.
In a post on X, he said: “These tickets go on sale Friday at 10am.
“There is no dynamic pricing.

“They will sell out very fast because I am an absolute legend. Apologies in advance. Good Luck.”
Mr Gervais also responded to fans calling for him to visit other places around the UK after he revealed the dates.
“Once again, these are only the first few dates.
“The next daft c**t who says "Why no Scotland?" or any other f*****g country is blocked.
