An Oxford man has been named and charged by police after a variety of knife offences.
Kofie John-Welch of Druce Way was charged on Tuesday evening with threatening a person with a bladed article, affray and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The 29-year-old was also charged with criminal damage and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.
The charges are in connection with an incident on Thursday, August 29 this year and following a search of a property at 12.22am on Tuesday morning, officers located a Zombie-style knife.

John-Welch remains in police custody and will appear before Oxford Magistrates Court today Wednesday, September 25.
The charge for possession of an offensive weapon in a private place is believed to be one of the first under the new legislation, which came into effect at midnight on Tuesday.
