A man has been arrested in an Oxfordshire town after allegedly making "threats to smash up the police station" before "swinging at officers", police have said.
Thames Valley Police said officers stopped the 20-year-old riding an e-scooter this afternoon (September 22) on Warwick Road.
The Banbury Neighbourhood Team said he tried to "evade police", and "when caught decided to make threats to smash up the police station" before he "started swinging at officers".

The team said he has been reported for allegedly driving without insurance.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: "The male was arrested and taken into custody at which point his attitude changed to be more apologetic.
"The male is being reported for driving without insurance."
