A man has been charged on suspicion of five offences following an incident near an Oxfordshire supermarket.
The incident occurred on Albion Street, Chipping Norton on Wednesday morning at around 9.55am as a man appeared to be attacking a property opposite the Co-op car park.
Tony Simms, of Old London Road in Chipping Norton, has been charged with five different offences.
These are aggravated burglary, criminal damage, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, possession of a sharp object in a public place and affray.

The 37-year-old has been remanded in custody according to Thames Valley Police.
At the time, a spokesperson for the force said: “Officers are appealing for witnesses and people who may have film footage which relates to a serious incident.
“A male appeared to be attacking a property opposite the Co-op carpark and a male has been arrested and there is no risk to the community.
