Oxford Mail Camera Club members have been ‘painting with light’ for their latest weekly theme.
The idea prompted photos of spectacular sunsets and some of Oxfordshire’s well-known landmarks including the Radcliffe Camera and Blenheim Palace.
There were also some stunning photos of sunsets taken in different locations.

While there were lots of contenders for photo of the week, we selected Brian Daniels’ colourful capture of a plane’s contrail.
The image won Brian lots of admiration from his fellow photographers and was a very welcome contribution to this week’s round-up.
Each week camera club members are given a theme and then post their photos on the club’s Facebook page.
A selection of photos are featured in the Oxford Mail and The Oxford Times, and online, before one picture is chosen as photo of the week. The next theme is ‘local sport’.
