Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue said the fire had fully burnt out before the fire and rescue crew arrived and the crew worked with police and the electricity company to make the area safe and isolate the power supply.

Thames Valley Police believe the fire was caused by an electrical fault.

The fire crew left the scene during the early hours (September 19) at 1.23am and it is understood the section of the road was closed for hours after the fire.
