A major road which passes through Oxford will close tonight.
Drivers have been warned that a strip of the A34 by the city will close at 9pm this evening (Wednesday, September 18) and will remain shut until 6am on Thursday.
The affected area is the northbound lanes from Hinksey Hill to Peartree and, according to National Highways, the closure is due to resurfacing works.
A statement from Oxon Travel said: “A reminder that the A34 Northbound between Hinksey Hill and Peartree, will be closed from tonight, 9pm until Thursday, 19th September, 6am.
