A “dishevelled” man allegedly threatened to use a knife on two dogs outside an RAF airbase.
The incident occurred outside the RAF Brize Norton perimeter fence in west Oxfordshire and involved a man walking his dogs off the lead.
He was then approached by a male who stated he had a knife and that it was for his protection, referring to the dogs off their leads.
This man was aged in his 30s and was of a skinny build, had grey hair and a baseball cap on with Thames Valley Police describing him as “dishevelled”.

He was also wearing a jacket with blue denim jeans.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “If you are approached by this male please call 999 immediately.
“This is the first report of this incident, and we will be engaging with those who use the area for dog walking, while this is of concern, no harm has been committed and no knife was seen.”
