The Keys Award, Radley College’s all-inclusive scholarship programme for talented and ambitious boys from state schools has been recognised with two prestigious national education awards.
In the Innovation in Education awards, Talk Education named Radley the winner in the Best Bursary Provision category for the Keys Award. The judges at Talk Education, an influential voice in the independent education sector, cited their focus on potential rather than prior attainment in the assessment process as the key driver for the award.
Just days later, The Week included Radley in their UK Schools' Guide, naming them Best for Scholarships and Bursaries in the UK. They praised the Keys Award's innovative marketing and video campaign, as well as their ongoing commitment to reaching families who would greatly benefit from the award.
The Week also recognised the newly launched Innovation Scholarship, designed for boys with big ideas and the determination to bring them to life. Successful candidates for this award are expected to show strong communication skills and technical prowess in areas such as design engineering, coding, graphic design, computer science, robotics, game design, or video production.
In its first year, the Innovation Scholarship attracted 30 applicants, making it the third most popular scholarship at Radley, after their longstanding Academic and Sport awards.
The Keys Award is an all-inclusive scholarship for talented and ambitious boys currently attending state schools, with entry points at 11+ (Year 7) and 16+ (Sixth Form).
To learn more about this unique opportunity, Radley is hosting a Keys Award Open Day on Saturday, 5th October 2024. Please register here. Their Sixth Form Open Day will also take place on the same day. Register here.
