A planning application submitted by a city councillor will be decided by civic chiefs this week.
Mary Clarkson, who chairs Oxford City Council's planning committee, has applied for a single-storey rear infill extension, the removal of a window and door, as well as the addition of four windows at a property in Dunstan Road, Headington.
The scheme, which also has Michael Tappin listed as an applicant, will be decided by the planning committee on Tuesday, September 17.

No objections have been received, but a supporting comment was sent by the Friends of Old Headington who said the proposal would improve the property.
According to the council's website, Ms Clarkson, who represents the Marston ward for the Labour Party, has sent her apologies for the meeting, meaning it will be chaired by her deputy Laurence Fouweather.
On the scheme's planning statement, it said: “The impact of these proposals on the Listed Building has been evaluated, and it is considered that they do not have a detrimental impact on its historic character or significance.
"But rather they will serve to enhance the property by improving the way the main family rooms are used and unifying the rear elevation of the two storey outbuilding.”
