A family has issued a desperate plea after a caravan, which was purchased to help a child with his autism and ADHD, was stolen from their home in south Oxfordshire.

The caravan was seized from Milton Common on Thursday, September 5 between 10pm and 11pm.

The owner of the caravan, Brett Ives, is appealing for help in finding the caravan "before it's too late".

"We really need help finding our caravan," Mr Ives said.

He said they bought the caravan because his son, who has autism and ADHD, struggled with holidays due to night terrors and the changes.

"It's not insured on the farm because it's not official storage, we have three children all mortified - especially our little boy."

Mr Ives added: "We need help finding it before it's too late."

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police, said: “We have received a report that sometime between 10pm and 11pm on Thursday, September 5 a caravan has been stolen from a residence on London Road, Milton Common near Thame.
