The free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k Didcot parkrun takes place every weekend and organisers are keen for new people to sign up.
Participants can walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it's up to you!
The event takes place at Ladygrove park, Bowmont Water, off Avon Way on Saturdays at 9am and is entirely organised by volunteers.
Every week participants grab a post parkrun coffee at the Ladygrove Pub.
In its 2023 Volunteer Experience Survey 90 per cent said that volunteering made them feel happier, 98 per cent said their experience as a volunteer had been meaningful and over 99 per cent would recommend volunteering at parkrun.
Parkrun has more than 10 million people registered worldwide, including at Abingdon, Grove Fields, Horspath, Harcourt Hill, University Parks, Oxford, Henley-on-Thames and Witney.
There are currently more than 2,500 event locations operating every single weekend, completely free to access, delivered by volunteers in the heart of their communities.
More than 900,000 different people have volunteered.
