Coronation Street stars Alexandra Mardell and Bill Fellows (Stu Carpenter on Corrie) are to reunite in a brand new BBC comedy programme.
This is Bill's first acting role since leaving the soap opera after he opted not to renew his contract with ITV.
The 67-year-old actor will now star in Smoggie Queens, a new show centring around a group of LGBT friends.

The Coronation Street star has reportedly already shot his scenes for the BBC show which is expected to debut very soon.
He will be joined by former co-star Alexandra Mardell on the BBC programme which also features Patsy Lowe, Elijah Young, Mark Benton and Phil Dunning.
A source told The Sun: “Three years is a long time to spend playing one role and while Bill has loved his time at Corrie, he’s ready to move on.

“He told bosses earlier this year that he would like to leave at the end of his three-year contract and they have crafted an exciting exit storyline for him.
“He will still be on screen for some time yet but it gave him a chance to say yes to a number of jobs he was keen to do later this year.”
Before joining Coronation Street in 2021, Bill starred in a smash-hit series Ted Lasso which follows an American football coach hired to manage a British 'soccer' team.
