There have been 'potential sightings' of man who has now been missing for a week, police said.

Officers renewed their appeal for witnesses to help trace Dean, aged 52, who was reported missing from Berinsfield last Saturday (September 7).

During the ongoing investigation to find him, police said they had possible sightings of him at the parade of shops in Barnes Road, Cowley on Thursday (September 12).  

He is about 5ft 8ins tall, of mixed ethnicity and is bald with a grey beard. He also has earrings.

He is known to frequent the Cowley area and also the Carfax area of Oxford.

Detective Chief Inspector Francesca Jarvis, said: “We are still appealing for the public’s help in tracing Dean.

“He may have been sighted in the Barnes Road area of Cowley and we are appealing for anyone who may have seen him to please get in touch as we want to check he is safe and well."
