Multiple fire crews were called to a large bonfire in an Oxfordshire village last night (September 10).
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue said the bonfire was made up of a mixture of domestic and garden waste but was "not toxic".
A warning was issued to those in the area this morning (Wednesday, September 11) urging residents to keep their windows and doors closed where possible.
Fire and rescue were called at 8pm to Woodhill Lane, East Challow near Wantage.

Three crews attended and initially tackled the fire to stop it from spreading using hose reel jets.
The fire died down but was still smouldering this morning.
Although fire crews left the scene, a 4x4 remained with a small number of firefighters keeping watch.
