The sentencing of a man who admitted to beating a woman in Witney has been delayed.
Jason Ellison, of Moor Avenue, Witney, was due to be sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on Tuesday (September 10).
The 37-year-old pleaded guilty at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on July 29 to two counts of assault by beating and one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

He assaulted the woman on May 10, May 11 and July 27.
However, Ellison was unable to be sentenced due to be unrepresented. He told Recorder Joseph Hart that he wanted to be represented but had been unable to get in contact with anyone.
His case has now be adjourned for sentencing on September 24 at the same court.
