The 2024 fair will be the 400th anniversary of St Giles' Fair in Oxford City centre after it originated in 1625 as a parish festival honouring St Giles.
After initially being a toy fair in the 18th century, the fair has evolved over centuries and transformed into a children's fair in the early 19th century.
