MORE than £800 worth of items were stolen from an Oxfordshire retail park last month, police say.

Thames Valley Police has today (September 6) released a CCTV image of the individual officers would like to speak to following the series of burglaries at Banbury Cross Retail Park in Lockheed Close.

The burglaries happened on August 8 between 8am and 10.30am in which an offender entered several stores, in total stealing £884 worth of items.

Police say the offender is linked to a silver Volkswagen Touran, with the licence plate ending in KWT.

A 16-year-old boy and a 29-year-old man, both from Birmingham, have each been arrested on suspicion of burglary, and have both been bailed.

Investigating officer PC Catarina Grandado Souza, said: “I am appealing for anyone with information about this burglary to please get in touch.

“Also, if you have any CCTV cameras in the area or if you were driving in the area around the time and have a dash-cam, I’d also ask that you check your recordings in case they have captured something that could assist our investigation.
